Homelessness

I have been working on photographing the homeless. This particular image was taken in Asheville, NC. This guy is holding down everything he owns while he sleeps on a bench downtown.

Introuction to Ceramics

I have posted a few of my pieces from my introduction to ceramics class. These were made when I was stressed for time. I have been known in the past to work better when I am extremely limited on time, ideas go through my head a lot faster.

2-D Class Project

This is a collage I made for my 2-D class. John Cline, my professor just asked us to make a collage and this is what came of it.

27th Annual College Photo Contest

Today I am submitting 3 of my black and white photographs (posted above) from my Intermediate Photography class. I am curious to see how it will work out. This will be my first time submitting my work into a contest. The images above are horrible reproductions. The website below is the official website for the contest.

Blaine Construction Project

Today I went to the Blaine construction site after class. Greg More, my co worker at Davis apartments works on the site as an intern. He showed me around and I photographed his closer friends on the site. I told the guys I want them in their "work environment" just standing in front of the camera. I think it worked out well. I got the film back and I am not too happy with it. I am still getting major lens flair. I will post pictures up shortly.

East Tennessean Picture

I took this during the Dierks Bentley concert. I had this published in the East Tennessean the Monday after the show. It took several attempts to get this shot. Some part of me thinks there is room for improvement. This was taken with the East Tennessean's Canon 10D (8.1 mega pixels).

Elevator

This was taken in the elevator in the Culp Center. I plan on going back to this elevator and photograph it with my medium format film camera.
